With a great deal of excitement I announce the launch of our acupuncture practice, offering Five Elements Acupuncture (integrated with TCM) and Facial Acupuncture.
Acupuncture for you
Five Elements Acupuncture is all about balance. It is a deep practice, offering ways of improving physical and mental health as well as enhancing your general health and wellbeing. Acupuncture can help relive stress and tension, headaches and back pain; it also provides a wonderful means of self-care, helping you to maintain a healthy body and mind as the cycles of the seasons come and go.

Facial Acupuncture is a way of working with nature to provide a natural uplift to the face. However, it is so much more than a cosmetic or anti-ageing treatment. Working with the face as well as other key points on the head and body, facial acupuncture brings radiance and energy on many levels, bringing a glow to the face while lifting up your whole being, so that you feel great from the inside out.

You can book acupuncture with Chloë at Falmouth Active Health Collective on Killigrew Street in Falmouth and at The Bird House Therapy Centre on Arwenack Street. I look forward to hearing from you!
Reflections on launching into acupuncture
The path to becoming an acupuncturist has already been incredible, and I’ve barely started! It’s joy to train with wonderful people like Michael Baker and Paul Adkins of the International College of Acupuncture, and working with patients and colleagues reminds me daily that we are each so unique and yet all connected and it seems, made with a dash of magic.

My academic side is enjoying noticing connections between the science and mystery of acupuncture. There appear to be deep connections between Chinese meridians and the neuro-myofasical meridians of the body that we work with in clinical massage. More so, it has been a homecoming to begin exploring the way that channels recognised in Chinese medicine reflect lines of the body that come to life from the earliest stages of our development. Those waves of cell to cell communication that guide our transformation from a single cell to a complex being.
Ooo, it is going to be SO much fun offering acupunture for the wonderful mind and body healing tool that it is, and I’ll be reporting periodically on the clinical results of testing out the scientific dimensions of Chinese medicine.
Do keep an eye here and on social media @moverestbe for acupuncture offers and opportunities to join in forthcoming clinical studies at discounted rates!
